In months 6, 7, and 8, you are hoeing, fertilizing, harvesting, storing, and propagating new plants, as well as dealing with garden insects.  In month 9 you are putting the garden to bed.  Months 10, 11,and 12 can be used for herbal preparations and brainstorming new ideas for next year's garden.
